Free shipping includes product cost, seller-paid delivery and the selling fee. Paid shipping includes product cost, selling fee and the fee on shipping; the difference between collected shipping and actual delivery cost is excluded.
When to use it
The workbook free-shipping example uses a KRW 50,000 price, KRW 35,000 cost, KRW 5,000 shipping cost and a 6.38% VAT-inclusive fee. Profit is KRW 6,810 and the margin is 13.62%.
Not getting the result you expected?
The selling price must be above zero. Enter a custom rate if your category is missing or the fee differs. Monthly charges, ads, returns and other costs need separate consideration, so results can differ from your settlement.
Frequently asked questions
Should VAT be added to the fee again?
No. Both rate inputs include VAT. The workbook VAT-inclusive column is used, so do not add VAT again.
Is the full shipping charge included as a cost for paid shipping?
No. Like the workbook, only buyer-paid shipping multiplied by the shipping fee rate is included. Differences from actual delivery costs, monthly charges and advertising costs are excluded.
Does this calculator cover Coupang Rocket Growth?
This calculator is for standard Coupang selling. It excludes Rocket Growth fulfillment, storage and delivery charges, so it does not estimate total Rocket Growth costs.
