Official category rates are stored separately for each marketplace. Options add to the price, seller-funded discounts reduce revenue, and the requested 2% Naver referral fee is retained. Selling and Naver fees use the pre-discount amount including options.
Only prepaid shipping incurs the 3.3% fee. Promotion fees apply only when you select eligible Big Smile Day orders meeting the reference-price conditions. The fee is 3% after seller discounts, rounded to whole KRW. The abolished 20% coupon charge is removed.
A seller ID with previous-month product sales of at least KRW 5 million incurs KRW 55,000 monthly, separately per marketplace. This is shown separately from order profit and deducted once from the monthly estimate. Blank prior-month sales are not treated as zero.
When to use it
The promotion example uses a KRW 50,000 price, KRW 5,000 seller discount, KRW 30,000 cost, KRW 2,500 prepaid and actual shipping, a 13% selling fee and Naver referral. Order profit is KRW 6,068. At 100 orders and KRW 5 million previous-month sales, estimated monthly profit after the server fee is KRW 551,800.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 3% promotion fee apply to every order?
No. Apply it only to eligible Big Smile Day orders meeting the reference-price conditions. Canceled or refunded orders are excluded.
Is the monthly server fee deducted per order?
No. It is excluded from order profit and deducted once, KRW 55,000, from the applicable marketplace seller ID monthly estimate.
Why can Gmarket fees differ from the ESM service fee?
The calculator shows selling fees before platform-funded discounts are offset. ESM may display a net service fee after that offset. Do not deduct a platform-funded discount again as a seller expense.
Can I use the same rate for Gmarket and Auction?
Check the category rate for each marketplace. This page uses the Gmarket table; Auction has a separate calculator. Override the rate if your contract differs.
